Course Overview
Learn more about art therapy, writing as therapy, music therapy, singing therapy, craft therapy, reminiscence and drama therapy. Creative therapies are useful to everyone. They can help us to maintain good mental health and improve mental health. They are also useful to maintain and improve physical skills. Knitting, for example, is great for people with osteoarthritis as it keeps movement in their hands.
Creative therapies are useful to help people in stressful times in their life and those with physical, emotional and psychological difficulties, help recover from injury or illness and improve their health and well being to name a few.

Lesson 2: Art Therapy and Counselling Skills II
Lesson 3: Crafts Therapy Part 1 – Fibre and Paper Crafts
Lesson 4: Crafts Therapy Part 2 – Model Making and Building Crafts
Lesson 5: Singing Therapy and Music Therapy
Lesson 6: Psychotherapeutic Writing
Lesson 7: Psychodrama Therapy
Lesson 8: Reminiscence Therapy
Entry requirements
There are no general entry requirements for this course, just your drive, motivation, and passion for the industry. You may enrol into this course at any time and begin studying shortly after enrolment.
Duration study load
We allow up to 12 months to complete this course, although your actual completion time may be less depending on prior experience and the time you commit to your study. Approx 100 hours.
