Course Overview
Learn to be sensitive to the needs of children, and more capable of interacting in a positive way with children during therapy. Review different approaches for helping children with internalising and externalising problems.

Lesson 2: Assessment of Childhood Problems (including ethical/legal considerations)
Lesson 3: Counselling for Internalising Problems & Disorders I: Anxiety
Lesson 4: Counselling for Internalising Problems & Disorders II: Depression
Lesson 5: Counselling for Externalising Problems & Disorders III: Eating Disorders
Lesson 6: Counselling for Externalising Problems & Disorders IV: Conduct Disorders
Lesson 7: Counselling for Other Problems & Disorders
Lesson 8: Other Counselling Approaches
Lesson 9: Problem based learning
Entry requirements
There are no general entry requirements for this course, just your drive, motivation, and passion for the industry. You may enrol into this course at any time and begin studying shortly after enrolment.
Duration study load
We allow up to 12 months to complete this course, although your actual completion time may be less depending on prior experience and the time you commit to your study. Approx 100 hours.
